1. During the final examination week (June 11~June 21, 2024), no personal leaves will be granted. Sick leave will only be approved by the university when proof of injury or illness from a government-approved medical institution for the day of the missed examination is presented. Students who need to apply for official leave, sick leave, hospitalization leave, compassionate leave, maternity leave, or special leave must submit related documents to the Student Advising Section / Taoyuan Student Affairs Section. The procedure for absence must be completed within two days (including examination day) after the teacher marked you as absent in the system.

2. The deadline for online application for leaves is June 21, 2024 (Friday). Please submit all the required documents before June 24, 2024 (Monday).

3. Application Procedure: Student Information System→Attendance System→Click “Examination Leave” system→Select your type of leave and submit→Fill in the serial number and other information on the original Examination Leave Approval Application (retrieve this from Student Advising Section / Taoyuan Student Affairs Section)→ Students need to submit related documents of proof and the original of Examination Leave Approval Application to Student Advising Section / Taoyuan Student Affairs Section.

4. If you do not see the record in the “Examination (Leave)” system, it indicates the teacher has not marked you absent in the system. Please confirm with the teacher whether he/she will mark you absent for the course exam. If your teacher will not mark you absent for the exam, you will not be able to apply for Examination Leave, please apply through the regular leave application procedure. 5. Students are required to respect the importance of examinations and not to take leaves lightly to avoid affecting their studies.
